- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I have been a patient of Richard’s for the past 7 years. I have ADHD and an anxiety disorder which flares under certain circumstances. Richard also treats my wife who has a major depressive disorder. We have both seen several other psychiatrists in the past. We are happy and relieved to have found Richard as he is a kind, knowledgeable and skilled psychiatrist. We have no hesitation in recommending him. My wife and I are health and social service professionals. We have appreciated Richard’s approach to us as his patients. He has a compassionate and caring manner. He is a good listener, attentive and non-judgemental. He has a gentle quirky sense of humour which helps lighten discussions. He is up to date with the latest research, especially for treatment resistant disorders, and he is supportive and flexible and will adjust medications if side effects or efficacy are an issue. He is also happy to take emergency calls or texts after hours and responds quickly. Richard has been brilliant in supporting my wife and me with our respective conditions and through some personally trying circumstances.
